Solo exhibition
at Csanyi5 Gallery from 4th to 27th November 2021, Budapest
The exhibition showcases one possible way of dealing with transgenerational trauma.
One part of the exhibited artworks focuses on the trauma inherited from mother to daughter through multiple generations, works with the emotional shock these women experienced being exposed to violence during World War II and the Hungarian Revolution in 1956.
The installations are composed of factual visual elements of these stories that through decades of repeated recitals evolved into pure symbols.
The other half of the exhibited works reflects the inner confilcts, the frustration within the psyché caused by the inherited trauma in the form of drawings, collages and various objects.
